If anyone sees lights in the Hangers and Downs overlooking the villages at night please could they call the police.
Sussex police have commenced an operation to try to stop quad bikes, trail motorcycles from using the hills to cause a nuisance and damage.
The rural crime team have request anyone who witnesses this at night to call 999. Officer leading this is Mathew Iles.

Sutton, Bignor, Barlavington, Burton and Coates are beautiful villages with a vibrant community, lying 6 miles South East of Petworth in the lee of the South Downs. It is just north of the South Downs Way and is convenient for Goodwood and Chichester.
